THE FOLLOWING TERMS APPLY TO PROPERTY TO LET:

FURNISHED RENTALS - This generally means that the property to rent is quite well equipped and may include such items as the television, video recorder, linen.

PART FURNISHED RENTALS - This generally means the home includes carpets, curtains, kitchen appliances and light fittings within the property. You, as the tenant, will be expected to supply furniture, crockery, linen, cutlery etc.

UNFURNISHED RENTALS - This usually means that the property is completely empty with the exception of carpets, curtains, light fittings. You will provide all furnishings and equipment.

SECURITY DEPOSIT ON RENTALS - All home lets are granted subject to the tenant providing one months advance rent plus a security deposit of an amount equal to one months rent. In certain cases and acting upon the landlord’s instructions, this security deposit is negotiable on properties and homes.

RENT - Rent is payable monthly in advance for the property. Our landlords preferred method and date of payment of the rental is by Bank Standing Order on the first day of each month.

All rents are exclusive of domestic bills. You will be responsible for the payment of the Council Tax, Water Rates, Gas, Electricity and Telephone charges. We have provided useful links to local authorities for your benefit.

You will also be required to maintain adequate insurance on the property.
